Marston Makerspace offers equipment and supplies for the creation of 1.25-inch and 2.25-inch round pinback buttons!
Punch cutters, button presses, and general crafting supplies (scissors, glue sticks, collage materials like construction paper and old magazines, etc.) are always free to use during Open Lab hours.
We are unable to provide free button supplies due to high demand and cost of materials. However, we now sell 1.25-inch and 2.25-inch round pinback button sets in packs of 10. Sets include sturdy metal pinbacks, metal front shells, and clear mylar rounds to create your own buttons.
- 1.25-inch round button sets are $3.00 per pack of 10
- 2.25-inch round button sets are $5.00 per pack of 10
Alternatively, you can order 1.25-inch and/or 2.25-inch round button supplies directly from American Button Machines. ABM also offers supplies for 1.25-inch and 2.25-inch key rings, magnets, ornaments, etc. that are compatible with our presses.
Do NOT purchase generic button supplies from Amazon, as they are incompatible with our American Button Machines presses.
You are responsible for providing the graphics/artwork for your buttons. For sizing, check out this handy Button Template Guide from American Button Machines. We can also help you with formatting during Open Lab hours in the Makerspace. Once printed, don’t use scissors to cut out each circle by hand! We have punch cutters for that.
